Haya Mortada is a consultant at Beyond Group where she catalyzes initiatives for meaningful change across all three practices.

Haya has extensive experience in the fields of policy research and design. She also catalyzes the development of public management strategies and their implementation. Through facilitating participatory processes of stakeholder engagement and engaging public officials and private sector representatives, she has contributed to the reform of public institutions and services across the MENA region, Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia.

Her work on youth policies, national strategies and action plans has engaged government entities at the local and national level through large-scale stakeholder engagement processes designed to create alignment and partnerships among those involved.

Haya has extensive experience working with governments in challenging social and economic contexts - such as Lebanon, Iraq, Kuwait, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Morocco and Somalia - and has a strong understanding of complex environments.

Haya holds a Bachelor's in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Master's in Anthropology from the American University of Beirut (AUB), and a Master's in International Business Management from Cardiff Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom.
