Abdullah Waqar Tajwar is an Associate Principal at Beyond Group's MENA Hub, where he leads initiatives focused on public policy and education. Abdullah has been instrumental in advancing policy frameworks and capacity-building initiatives across the MENA region, particularly in education, youth empowerment, and social protection.

Abdullah has led complex, multi-stakeholder projects that address systemic challenges in education and governance. His work includes developing comprehensive frameworks for disability inclusion in public services and creating strategic recommendations for aligning vocational education programs with labor market needs. Abdullah has also spearheaded initiatives that integrate humanitarian assistance with social protection systems, contributing to long-term resilience and sustainable development.

His contributions have helped reshape governance frameworks and policies that promote inclusivity and resilience in both the public sector and education systems. Abdullah’s ability to design tailored solutions that address local contexts while promoting scalability has earned him recognition as a key figure in advancing public policy reforms, particularly in South Asia.

Before joining Beyond Group, Abdullah managed education-focused projects that provided secondary education to marginalized girls in Pakistan. His hands-on approach to fostering inclusive education and his deep understanding of local challenges have been critical in shaping his approach to public policy and education reform.

Abdullah holds a Master’s degree in International Education Policy from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences in Pakistan. His academic and professional experiences have positioned him as a leading expert in public policy and education reform across the MENA region.
