Djina Barakat is a founding partner, consultant and the Learning Unit enabler at Beyond Group.

Djina holds extensive experience supporting private sector organizations in the service, retail, pharmaceutical, telecom, banking and manufacturing sectors around the world to design and develop their general, Human Resource and knowledge management systems. She catalyzes initiatives that serve to build the capacities of growing and well established organizations in terms of leadership, interpersonal skills, change management, and the management of people through the course of organizational change.

Djina is the enabler of the Learning Unit at Beyond group and ensures the necessary systems are designed and implemented to maintain the wellbeing, learning, and growth of its team members. She facilitates the team’s growth and resource diversification while promoting the technical and soft-skills learning and development of current team members.

Djina catalyzes Beyond Group’s internal capacity building activities and ensures that the organizational culture remains faithful to Beyond Group’s values and conducive to growth, learning and partnership. With her Langevin Learning Services (Canada) certification as an instructor, trainer, and instructional designer and developer, Djina also designs and delivers experiential learning programs for Beyond Group team members as well as partner clients around the world.

Djina makes sure that as new members join they are well integrated within the group’s community, and are well embraced by the organization’s culture. Through facilitating the exchange of feedback and learning opportunities amongst team members, Djina helps individuals reflect on and identify the most suitable approaches for their own transformations, capacity building, and growth.

In addition to her support to the team, Djina also enables the Learning-Consultants’ program at Beyond Group. She facilitates the learning journey of internship applicants as they assume responsibilities in supporting the team in creating meaningful change across all three practices. Her role allows the Beyond Group Alumni community to expand and grow and maintain opportunities for future collaborations.

Djina holds a Bachelor's in Accounting and Finance, a Bachelor's in Marketing Management from the Lebanese University and a Master’s in General Management from UQAM in Canada
