Aya Hoteit is an Associate Principal at Beyond Group’s MENA Hub, specializing in public sector innovation and sustainable development. With a background in engineering and social entrepreneurship, Aya brings a multidisciplinary approach to her work, focusing on designing innovative frameworks that address pressing challenges within governmental institutions and support community-driven impact.

At Beyond Group, Aya leads initiatives in strategic program design, leveraging her expertise in human-centered design, digital transformation, and sustainable solutions. Her contributions include advancing Beyond Group’s SEEN Platform, where she applied her knowledge in sustainable design to create a user-centric platform that connects social enterprises to vital networks and resources. Aya is also involved in facilitating innovation workshops and providing mentorship to emerging entrepreneurs, helping them navigate complex regulatory landscapes and achieve sustainable growth.

Before joining Beyond Group, Aya held pivotal roles in program management and business innovation, collaborating with entities like Berytech, MIT MediaLab, and Astrolabs. She has developed and delivered customized content on early-stage business development and co-designed social entrepreneurship bootcamps across the region. As the founder of Atelier Miqias, a sustainable fashion garments and accessories production and consultancy atelier, Aya pioneered ethical production practices, integrating zero-waste methodologies and collaborating on initiatives that amplify environmental impact.

Aya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and a certification in Social Entrepreneurship Leadership from the Swedish Institute. She is also a fellow with both the UNLEASH Innovation Lab and Ashoka ChangemakersXChange, where she collaborates on projects that intersect technology, innovation, and social good.
